Welcome to Pelican Garage Doors warranty information

This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship, including the installation of  parts furnished by Pelican Garage Doors as part of the repair. Pelican Garage doors will repair, or if the repair is not possible, will replace any defective part or workmanship at no extra charge for materials during the term of the warranty. This Warranty begins when repairs and/or installations are complete. 

1 Year Warranty

The terms of the warranty last for 1 year covering parts and labor beginning on the date of service. This includes new door and operator installations and recommended repairs only. If recommended repairs are not approved, then a 30-day partial service warranty will be in effect for an alternative repair option.

BEGINNING OCTROBER 1 2024 ALL NEW GARAGE DOORS PURCHASED FROM AND INSTALLED BY PELICAN GARAGE DOORS WILL COME STANDARD WITH A 2 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY 

30-Day Partial Service Warranty

If the customer declines the recommendations for additional repairs or replacement made by the technician, the 30-day partial warranty will apply. The terms of the warranty apply, but the coverage period will be 30 days including parts and labor commencing on the original date of service.

What is not covered

If anyone other than the authorized Pelican Garage Doors that provided the original service performs work on any new or repaired parts covered by this warranty, then that part and the labor to the repair is no longer covered under this warranty. The warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, or Acts of God and does not cover commercial door installation or repair.
